Center For Economic Progress
The Center for Economic Progress was founded in 1990 by Michael O’Connor, a veteran public benefits lawyer. Formerly the Center for Law and Human Services, the agency first focused on helping homeless families and individuals access services.
Today, the Center provides trusted tax and financial counseling, builds coalitions of organizations that promote economic progress for low-wage workers and is an advocate for a better tax system.
Mark Royko and Associates built the site based on it's in-house Otter CMS.
Among the custom applications built for the Center's website was a custom-coded office locator that allows visitors to enter their zip code, then retrieve a list of office addresses sorted by distance from zip code location.
